Absolutely fantastic! Sauces were fantastic! My wife & I ordered 3 meats and a side. Ordered brisket, pulled pork ribs. Mac & cheese, brisket beans, cornbread, wings, sweet potato fries were delicious, plus drinks. Around 80 for us both, but a lot of food! I still have leftovers. Everyone super friendly. Fantastic. A
First time stopping in, I always drive past here I was hungry on my way home so I decided to give it a try. It’s a little hard to drive in but it’s worth the food, you come in to a southern atmosphere, ordering was super easy my cashier had a lot of suggestions I had amazing Rib Tips and a Jalapeno brat with an amazing piece of cornbread to finish my plate off with I don’t know what they put on top of that cornbread 10/10! Definitely a must try I will be back very soon!
Fire Water BBQ absolutely knocked it out of the park! The food was nothing short of amazing — smoky, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. They also went above and beyond by catering our gym’s summer party, making sure we had plenty of delicious options for everyone. Kenny was anwesome and accommodating, making the whole experience seamless. We’re grateful for their help in making our summer party a huge success. If you’re looking some local amazing BBQ and service, Fire Water is the way to go!!!
Some of the best barbecue I had in Chicago they’re loaded. Fries were hands-down. Amazing blew my expectations out of the water.
Can’t say enough about this restaurant. Why is this place not busier than it was? We went around dinner time on Sunday night and it wasn’t busy at all. When you walk in your senses are aroused by the wood smoke bbq scent. We wanted to order one of everything. Which actually we did order quite a bit because everything sounded so good and we definitely had leftovers. We ordered a full slab of ribs, which were so tender and char broiled crispy deliciousness. Best ribs I’ve ever had. We ordered the smoked chicken which was still juicy, we ordered the pulled pork which was delicious and you can add your own barbecue sauce, which they had variety of flavors. The cornbread was one of the best I’ve ever had real moist and dense with real corn inside and the mac & cheese was delicious. I feel like they make it themselves. Highly recommend checking this place out. We did order cocktails, but would not recommend them. We sat next to the fireplace. It was really nice and cozy in there. Plenty of space,seating, tables,big parties, good for all of that.
We were in town for a paintball tournament and decided to give Illinois BBQ a try. Being a bunch of guys from the Carolinas we have high expectations for BBQ. This place did not disappoint. I ordered wings, smoked chicken, and brisket with sweet potato fries. The brisket and chicken were good but the wings took the show. The wings were large, crispy, and had a ton of flavor. No ranch needed for those. I also got to try the burnt ends which were exceptional. But... the highlight of the entire meal was the cornbread! This was moist and sweet. Some of the best cornbread I have had in my life. I would order a whole sheet of that and be happy. I was also given every sauce they had available with no extra charge which was really nice. Sweet potato fries were cooked good but they do add cinnamon sugar on them so it could be a turn off to some. The atmosphere was great with a smokey smell inside and clean interior. Service was great and incredibly fast. Overall I'm glad we stopped here.
Every time I go get I am satisfied. This time was no different. The staff was courteous and welcoming & the food was great! They even let us have an old menu item; brisket tacos with a side of brisket beans It was delicious!
Walking in I was a bit confused because there was no greeting and the place to order was towards the middle of the restaurant. Once we figured it out, it was smooth sailing and so worth the confusion. The ribs are so tender and full of flavor.. no sauce or silverware needed! The sweet potato fries were hot, flavorful and just the perfect amount of sweet. The Mac and cheese was a bit overcooked for my liking, but the flavor was good. Overall a good experience and I would definitely be back.
